Smart Glasses by Intel
We have seen those weird looking yet techy smart glasses that many companies are making one such is Google. They look very weird. If you are walking wearing those glasses, chances you will be seen as awkward by others.
But these glasses which are made by Intel, the chip manufacturing company, they look like the same way ordinary glasses you find around. They are very similar to the optician’s prescribed glasses with decent and normal frames.
But what the technology involved in making this glasses is different though. They involve a special laser with a very low frequency which is not all harmful to the human eye. This type of laser is called as “Vertical Cavity Surface Emitter” laser. And the way it projects to your eye is also very different. It is like a heads-up display like projection. So, when you are walking, seeing something normally, then this doesn’t distract you. It emits a red coloured with the data that is useful for the wearer.
These smart glasses are very smart that they know what to send at what time. It’s like what to send when. Though these glasses are still in prototype version, soon they are going to release for the developers to work on the use cases. But soon they are going to hit the market. These glasses are named as “vaunt”.
