Hasselblad 400 MegaPixel camera
Hasselblad just introduced itsH6D-400c which can shoot at 400 MP photos. The camera has medium format 53.4 X 40.0mm sensor with USB 3.0 type C for speedy data transfers, 30 fps live view, dual memory cards (CFast 2.0 and SD) and WIFI and comes with Phocus mobile IOS app.
It can even do 4K video recording in Hasselblad proprietary RAW video format. It uses a process called “Multi-shot” where it combines up to six different exposures from its 100-MP with the sensors. Each image is shifted by a pixel, creating a much higher resolution image.
Photos are captured at a true 16-bit depth. There are two ways one is to create an enhanced 100-MP photo with accurate colours or by combining six images to create a 400-MP image (23,200 X 17,400 at 2.4GB sized). But everything comes at a price and this is no exception. It costs nearly $$48,000 without the cost of the lens.
