The Google I/O 2018 is going on and we are here to let you know what the major things happened in the event. Google the major software giant or simply one of the “big five” is conducting its annual developer conference which is also known as the “Google I/O”. As usually this year also they are conducting the conference and there are many things they are focusing to change and make things work better.

The most important thing I got attention when I was watching the event is the “Android P”. Yes, you heard right. They announced the nest version of the android though they haven’t gave usual dessert name to it instead they just announced the developer kit for the android p which is going to be launched as a beta version today. So, don’t ask me what about the previous 8.0 oreo update. They didn’t say about it. It got many new and interesting updates, which include the amount of time you spent on each and every app on your phone. Which it tracks and lets you know what is the app where you spend your valuable time the most. Its not only that, you can also set a limit to it and if you exceeded the set limit, it will automatically shuts the particular app.

The next major thing to notice is the swipe gestures which are now available to the android smartphones. Remember when the iPhone X launched with a full screen with no home button, they introduced the swipe gestures, same here with android, but in more unique and more user friendly way. They have this slider at the bottom, when you move it to the sides, then you are taken to the recently used apps. There are lot more other important features, included in the android p.

The important and the interesting thing that happened is the MLKit for the android developers, the machine learning kit for the android developers, where you can now build apps using machine learning. For example the google assistant now can make phones calls on behalf of you. Which can be very futuristic but also an interesting aspect to have.

Not only these but there are lot and lot more interesting updates to be shared with you stay tuned to this for more and more upcoming updates at the Google I/O 2018. Also let us know what you feel about the new updates and features in the Android P. Let us know in the comments.
