Go wireless, Ultra thin TVs, voice assists…@CES 2018
After CES 2018 came to an end by 12th of January, what missed are the wireless charging technology, ultra-thin TVs, and voice assists.
As wireless chargers are not new but by the launch of the Apple products, it got a hype. Recently, Apple unveiled their smartphones and successor of the iPhone 7 that is iPhone 8 and their flagship phone iPhone X, they also launched wireless chargers along with them. They made these wireless chargers as a standard by claiming that their wireless chargers are “Qi” compiled and better than the rest present in the market. So, now all the wireless chargers that are going to be released are Qi compiled. Making it as the gold standard version.
Next is the ultra-thin TVs from all the leading companies such as Samsung, Sony, LG etc With very thin bezels and also bigger, larger, brighter displays. They are also competing close to the laptops and smartphones.
The simple tech we are using right now is voice assists from big players such as Amazon, Google, Apple etc. But the clear winner seems to be the Amazon voice assists. As most of the products from the Byton smart car to small robots are integrated with Amazon voice assist. But recently Google also unveiled its voice assists with display version similar to Amazon show. Making the competition intense in that category. Maybe your choice has become tougher now.
