Dell XPS 13 4K

The computer manufacturing giant DELL had recently released yet another model in XPS series lineup. Which comes in many varients that means you have various options to choose from. For example it comes in two sizes XPS 13 and XPS 15.

Coming to the tech spec for this laptop, the most noticeable thing one can find is its display. It got a nearly bezel-less display with 80.7% body to screen ratio. It is also available in 4K version which 3840×2160 resolutions. amazing isn’t it! What is more amazing is that its a touch screen display.  There is lot more to say just for the display. The viewing angles are great and the colours are just as bright and pop up. The body is made up of glass fiber which is a bit different from other laptops as most of them are made from magnesium or mostly aluminium. But it got a great design as it looks and feels good when holding it and using it. The keyboard is a backlight with white light chiclet style and with full size 1.33mm key travel.

Coming to the ports there are three USB-C type ports. There is also a charging indicator on its left side, where it you can view the charging status. Its not the best feature but making the life a little bit easier feature. A finger-print reader is integrated into the power button. But it is not the only thing to login into the system. It is also having the Windows Hello, where it uses the facial recognition technology, but the weird thing is that the web camera is placed not on top of the screen as usually but at the bottom of the screen. Which some of them may not accept it as it may be awkward as it may capture under the nose. So, it depends on the users’ choice. But there is no other way as it got the thinnest bezels and the only space available is the bottom bezel.

Finally coming to the hardware specs, it is packed with 16GB ram with INTEL UHD graphics, 512GB SSD, with INTEL i7 8th gen processor. It got a 10 hours battery life with fast charging capability. And finally coming to the price point, it comes at around 1 lac and more. So, it is certainly a expensive one. Would like to get one???
