“Active status” in Instagram app

If you are using the Instagram app beyond that then you get a surprise from the company. Well if you think so in that way though. The Facebook-owned photo-sharing app Instagram recently released an update for it users of Direct Messages. (Hey who don’t use that feature?)

So, from now on you can see the time when a person last used the app. Its similar to the “last seen in WhatsApp” and “Active in Messenger” which are also owned by Facebook.

It means that you can see when a person last used the app and also people can see yours as well. But here comes a solution if you don’t want this feature which appears below the username in the DM area. You can simply turn them ON and OFF if you want. Remember if you switched OFF this feature, then you can’t view you others.
